Why On-Page SEO is important ? Article by SEOTEC (SEO Company in India).

On page is a term that was coined to describe any type of ‘on-site’ optimization, including internal linking and page content.

As well as the on-site elements mentioned above, there are also off-page SEO elements such as backlinks, social media marketing (SMM), and other online marketing tactics which can be used in conjunction with the on-site efforts discussed below.

You may have heard about search engine optimization (SEO), but you may not know what it actually entails. The following are some answers to commonly asked questions about SEO.

How does Google decide which site appears at number one?

There are two main factors that affect the ranking of a particular site. These are known as the “authority” and “quality” of the site. Authority reflects the importance of the site within the general Internet community.

A high authority site is likely to appear near the top of search results pages because it is deemed useful and trustworthy by people who use the Internet to find information.

Quality refers to the relevance of a site’s information based on the keyword(s) entered into the search engine. Sites with relevant, authoritative content tend to show up at the top of search rankings.

Why do you need to pay for SEO services?

PPC campaigns require constant monitoring and management. This means that you must allocate resources to ensure that your ad campaign remains effective.

SEO requires less effort than PPC, and therefore costs much less. However, you should still budget for SEO services.

There are many free tools available that help you monitor and manage your SEO campaign and search rankings.

Free tools include Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, and Google Webmaster Tools these tools are good to monitor your target keyword, internal links, external links and search engine rankings.

Can SEO increase your sales?

Yes! In fact, when done correctly, SEO can lead to significant growth in revenue.

Even if a business doesn’t rely heavily on internet advertising, SEO can still provide a boost to organic searches and drive new customers towards your business, but the content should address the right search queries.

What are the components of on-page SEO?

The main components of on-page optimization include:

On-site content – this includes all text, images and videos that you have included in your website.

Off-site content – this is any external links (also known as backlinks) to other websites or blogs related to yours.

Website structure – this refers to how your pages are structured, such as if they use a navigation bar, or whether they’re using an image gallery instead of a blog post. This also includes how many internal pages there are to each section of the site.

Sitemaps – These help search engines better understand what pages are available for crawling.

Site speed – this refers to the time it takes for a web user to navigate through a website from start to finish. Slow loading times make visitors leave before they get a chance to see any content.

How to do On page SEO optimization ? - SEOTEC (Best SEO Company in India)

The most important factor of any website is the quality and quantity of its piece of content.

The more information you provide, the more likely it is that a user will find your site useful. However, if you don’t have enough content on your site, then chances are, users won’t bother visiting your site at all.

This can lead to a decrease in traffic and revenue for your business.

To avoid this problem, you should ensure that you optimize your pages as much as possible for the target keyword (primary keyword) and search terms. Optimization involves making sure that the text on each page contains relevant keywords and links to other pages.

It also includes ensuring that your images are optimized so that they display well on various devices, such as tablets and smart phones.

Another important element of optimizing your site is ensuring that your pages load quickly.

If a visitor can’t reach a webpage within three seconds, they’ll click away immediately.

Poor performance affects not only their experience but also your bottom line. You can improve performance by reducing unnecessary redirects, compressing files, avoiding Flash and JavaScript, and choosing a hosting provider that uses caching software.

How to reduce unnecessary http requests from your website ?

It’s no surprise that there are more opportunities for search engines to crawl our websites and gather as much information about us as possible.

We work on projects and during our SEO audits noticed that there is a lot of unnecessary http requests being made from our customer’s website (around 60-70 per second).

We have looked into the code and found out that there are a few places where we could remove unnecessary http requests.

We know that we need to keep the http request count low but we were wondering if there are any other things we can do to further reduce the amount of http requests?

We Use WordPress plugin called Asset Cleanup sometimes if the site is us using WordPress CMS.

This is a powerful tool that will help you find unused plugins and themes in your site, which could be slowing down your website or even causing it to crash.

What are assets?

Assets are files that make up a web page or application. They include things like images, CSS stylesheets, JavaScript code, and HTML pages. When you upload a new file into WordPress, it is considered an “asset” because it makes up part of your site.

Why clean up assets?

There are several reasons why you might want to clean up your site’s assets.

Some common ones are:

  • You want to speed up your site’ s loading time.
  • You want to maintain all the core web vitals.
  • Your server may be running out of disk space.
  • You want to free up memory.
  • You want to reduce bandwidth usage.

How does the plugin work?

When the asset cleanup feature is enabled, it looks through every single one of the assets that are stored on your site.

The plugin checks whether the file has changed since the last time it was uploaded. If it hasn’t, it doesn’t touch it. But if it has changed, the plugin deletes the old version and replaces it with the newer one.

How to use the WordPress plugin asset cleaning feature

  1. Click on the Assets tab. Then scroll down until you see the box next to the text “Enable the Asset Cleanup Feature”.
  2. Check the box beside “Asset Cleanup” and click save changes.
  3. Wait for the plugin to perform its magic! You’ll then be able to view a list of all the assets on your website.
  4. Click on each item in turn and you’ll be taken directly to the screen where you can delete them.

Hope this helps! Please leave a comment below if you have any questions.

Which is difficult, on page SEO or off page SEO?

Usually people get confused about the difference between on page and off page optimization.

I have read that you should focus more on your content and less on your back links, but it seems like if you do not build your own backlinks then there will be no one to link to your site.

So how can you get people to link to your website without building your own backlinks?

The most important thing to know about SEO is that it’s a long-term strategy. You don’t just “do” SEO for a week and expect results. It takes time, persistence, and patience.

That said, there are some quick wins you can take advantage of right away.

The first step is to create great content for right search terms. A great piece of content means something that will attract visitors and keep them engaged.

In other words, it needs to be useful, entertaining, and interesting. Search engines love sites that offer useful information, so having lots of high quality content will give you a leg up.

Next, you need to optimize your site for search engines and user intent. This includes making sure your site follows best practices, such as using H1 tags, subheadings, and keyword-rich titles.

It also involves optimizing your site for mobile devices and ensuring that your site loads quickly, so that search engine algorithm prioritize your content in search results.

What is the most important thing in on page SEO ?

If your website has high quality content and unique (Not Duplicate content), then it will rank higher.

So you have to write good contents that are useful for visitors. If you write articles with a keyword in the title or meta description, be sure that those words appear naturally in the article itself, but not throughout the whole body of the text.

It’s okay if they are repeated, as long as they “make sense” and add value to the article.

On-page SEO is like an investment; the more relevant content you have on your website, the better off you’ll be in search rankings.

But don’t overdo it! Over optimization can also hurt you. Be ware of any broken links, usually content creators only focus on not to publish duplicate content, but forget about the technical SEO.

The same goes for links (Inbound links and outbound links). When people link back to your site, try to make sure that these links are natural. Don’t go out of your way to buy cheap links from low-quality sources, because these links could potentially harm your ranking.

Also, don’t overuse keywords in anchor texts (the text appearing under the hyperlink). A single word is usually enough.

Again we will suggest avoid duplicate content, keep a check on broken links if any and include inbound links to keep your bounce rate in range.

What are benefits of on-page SEO?

On-Page SEO is the process of optimizing your website for search engines, so that it can be found by potential customers and it can increase your click-through rate.

It’s a two-way street: if you want to rank well in Google and other search engines, you need to optimize your valuable content with keywords that will help people find what they’re looking for.

While there are many factors that go into ranking high in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages), one of the most important ones is how easy it is for users to navigate through your site.

This means making sure that you have clear navigation, no broken links, clean content, and good page load times and no duplicate content. If these things aren’t up to the mark, then you won’t see much traffic coming to your site.

A clean visual content can do wonders in SEO. Placement of visual content with well organized primary keyword stuffing and primary keyword density is not difficult, a good keyword research tool can do for you.

On Page SEO is the practice, which helps in optimizing a webpage’s content and appearance for better rankings and organic traffic. This includes things like keyword insertion, internal linking, page title, meta description, H1 tags, heading tags, source code optimization etc.,

which are all placed within the web pages to help the search engine understand what it should index and how it should interpret its results.

In simple words Onpage seo refers to the process of optimizing your website or blog post so that you get higher search rankings for good organic traffic on a search intent. It also means making sure that your site is easy to use as well as navigate through.

Is there a step-by-step approach to do On-Page SEO?

The best way is to use Google’s Webmaster tools. It will tell you what keywords your site should be targeting, and how well you are doing in each of those areas.

If you want more detailed information about the keywords that google thinks your page should rank for, you can also search for them using “site:” followed by the keyword.

You can find out which pages on your website have been indexed and whether they have been crawled by visiting the Search Traffic section of the Webmaster Tools account.

This tool allows you to see the status of all the pages on your site that Google has found – including any errors or warnings it may have encountered while.

Make Unique Content

As mentioned earlier, the only way to make yourself visible in search engines is by creating unique content that is worthy of being indexed. To do this, ensure that your page contains the keywords related to your business.

Make sure that they are used properly and at least once per each page, as Google considers multiple occurrences of a keyword to be spammy, even though they may very well be appropriate for the context of the content.

Use H1 Tags Properly

One of the major problems faced by many websites is that their headings aren’t written correctly, resulting in poor user experience. Make sure that your headlines have keywords that are relevant to your business.

For instance, if you run a shoe store, one of your headings might include ‘Shoes Online India’ whereas another might contain

On page SEO checklist

You’ll find a list of things that you need to do in order to get better rankings on Google. I’ve listed the most important ones for you here:

1) Make sure your website is mobile-friendly

Google has recently announced that it will be giving preference to websites that are responsive and mobile friendly over those which aren’t. This means that if you have not yet made your site mobile-friendly, you should start doing so now because this change will affect you.

If you don’t make your site mobile-friendly then it will lose out on traffic from people who use their phones or tablets to search for information. If you want to know more about how Google ranks sites based on

2) Optimize images & videos

Images and video play an important role in increasing the chances of getting visitors to click through to your site. But, when it comes to optimizing these assets, keep in mind that Google doesn’t pay much attention to image size, but instead focuses more on their relevance.

So, rather than focusing too much on file sizes, try to optimize the images and videos on your site to get better results. You can use free online services like TinyPNG to help with this task

3) Use Schema markup

Schema markup helps search engine crawlers understand what your website is about. It tells search engines what kind of data is available on the web page.

By using this type of markup, you create a clear and concise description of your web page.

4) Write quality meta descriptions

Meta descriptions are brief text snippets often displayed below a webpage’s title. They’re also referred to as “meta descriptions” or “descriptions.” When users scan a web page, they usually read the first few sentences within the meta description tag.

And since most browsers automatically display the first 100 characters of a post, it’s possible to write a short, sweet description that’ll entice readers to click.

5) Add alt tags to images

Alt tags describe images on a page. Alt tags give screen reader software something to read while a visitor is looking at an image. This allows them to see what the image is without having to actually click on it.

6) Optimize your URL structure

URLs are the key to any successful digital marketing strategy. The best URLs have less than 10 words, are easy to remember and use, and end in.com. Also, avoid hyphens (-) in URLs.

7) Create a sitemap

A sitemap is a map that shows all pages on your site. Sitemaps tell search engines where pages on your site are located.

8) Link internally

Internal linking makes it easier for users to navigate your site. Internal links can improve your rankings by letting Google know that other relevant pages exist on your site.

9) Keep your page titles unique

If you’ve ever searched for anything on Google, you already know that the page title plays a big part in determining whether your webpage appears on top of the search results. To appear higher on the SERPs, your page titles need to include keywords related to your business.

10) Include your keywords naturally

Keywords are the words and phrases used in your content, headlines, and subheadings. Using natural language ensures that your site isn’t full of unnatural keywords.

11) Avoid duplicate content

Duplicate content occurs when you copy and paste articles onto multiple pages. Search engines view this as spammy link building practices and penalize your site accordingly.

12) Build trust with your audience

You may think that SEO is only about writing high quality content, but it’s just one component of a larger picture.

Your goal should always be to build relationships with customers. This is why we recommend starting social media accounts like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

13) Monitor your analytics regularly

Analytics tools allow you to track user behavior and measure the success of your efforts.

For example, you can find out how many people visit each page on your site and which ones convert into sales.

14) Be patient

SEO takes time. You won’t see immediate improvements from day 1. But if you work hard over months and years, you’ll start seeing positive effects.

15) Use responsive design

Responsive design means creating websites that look great no matter what device (desktop computer, tablet, smartphone) someone uses to access them.

It’s important because mobile traffic has increased dramatically in recent years.

16) Make sure your website loads quickly

Google now gives more weighting to sites that load fast. If your site takes longer than 3 seconds to load, it will get demoted in search results.

17) Get feedback

Testimonials and reviews provide a good way to gauge how well your site performs. Ask friends and family to leave honest reviews or take surveys so you can learn what they think.

18) Incorporate videos

Videos increase engagement and improve SEO. They’re also a fun way to connect with your audience and show off your products.

19) Track your progress

It’s important to keep tabs on your progress. Check back every few weeks and make adjustments based on what you learned from testing.

20) Stay up-to-date

Search engine algorithm update comes frequently. So do industry standards. Always stay ahead of the curve and implement changes before they become outdated.

In short Technical SEO is not a rocket science but to skyrocket your business, Indeed you need quality fuel which is content and your website in case of SEO.

The first step in any SEO strategy is understanding what people search for when they visit your site. This requires analysis of your own site’s analytics data, as well as similar sites’ analytics data. Once you’ve identified the most popular keywords, you can begin working on improving your site’s ranking by making sure each page has those keywords.

You can also find out how often users click links to various pages within your site. If the pages are “underperforming,” you’ll need to fix them.
